I went to Gorgeous for the first time last week and will most definitely be returning.

Friendly professional staff, great coffee and gorgeous hair is consistently delivered by Gary and his team.

I had a cut and half a head of foils with Samantha. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere in the salon is very relaxed. Samantha matched my colour perfectly and the cut was spot on.

Just wanted to say a big thank you for dealing with my daughter so sensitively last Wednesday. You did a great job.

Dear Gorgeous Hair
I came into your salon on the 2 January 2015 as a long overdue gift from my brother back in September 2014.
It was a lovely experience from beginning to end. Katie looked after me and did my hair. She was attentive but not overbearing and did a well considered cut and restyle on my hair which I really like.
The salon is clean and reassuring and did exceed my expectations as a special gift. I also loved the massage chair - just amazing.
I hope to return for a colour which needs more time. My only regret is that I live in London.

Hi Gorgeous Hair
I had my hair cut at the salon just before New Years.
First of all being a guy I was unsure about going to a Salon for a haircut but I can honestly say it was the best haircut I've had to date.
The service I received from Katie was also fantastic. Very friendly and made me feel at ease the entire time. I was that happy I booked an appointment straight after finishing.

Having visited the salon as a client, Katie Milne fell in love with the friendly, professional and fashionable environment and knew this was the right salon for her. Katie has an empathy with her clients, understanding the importance of reflecting an individual’s personality whilst enhancing their look. The extensive consultation training she has received gives her a unique approach to help her understand the client’s wishes, matching cut and colour to face, lifestyle and hair type.
Katie has had the privilege of learning from the best. She has worked and trained at top salons across the country, attending the L’Oreal Professional Academy to gain a diploma in Blow Drying and Finishing, as well as diploma in Classic Cutting from the Wella Professional Business Education Centre. Her professional ability works across both genders, having completed the Wahl seminar ‘Funky Men’ from the Wahl Academy.
Katie is skilled both technically and creatively. Her pleasing personality, enthusiasm and ability to listen to clients’ requirements make her the ideal hairdresser. She is not just someone who will cut, colour and style hair, she can make everyone feel comfortable and you can trust her to deliver the best look. She is disciplined in delivering what clients both want and need. Katie has a particular strong skill in ‘put ups’. Watching her disappear into herself whilst she creates works of art for every special occasion is mesmerising. Ultimately, Katie will develop a relationship with new clients, maintain a connection with existing clients and always draw on her ability to visualise the style she is creating and versatility in creating the look you want.

The sun was shining and the air was warm, just the kind of day that makes you feel like getting a new look for the coming summer. A friend had recommended Gorgeous-hair in The Suffolks, "Cheltenham’s Notting Hill", so I had booked my appointment online and I made my way through Montpellier to be made gorgeous!
On entering the salon I was warmly welcomed, my jacket was taken and I took a seat on the comfy sofas to browse the drinks menu, leaf through the latest magazines and check out the hairstyle books. Freshly ground latte ordered, I was gowned and led to the beautifully lit styling station to begin my consultation and transformation to summertime babe...
Sammi, the junior stylist, who I had selected to do my highlights, gave me a detailed consultation - discussing skin tone and the colours that would suit me. Gary, the salon owner who would be cutting my hair, then came to join us. We discussed my face shape, lifestyle and hair maintenance routine, to tailor a look especially for me.
The salon was light and airy with a contemporary yet elegant feel. The styling chairs were luxurious - always a good thing when having a proper pamper. There is a lovely team of stylists and a great ambience with some chilled music in the background, coffees flowing and people coming and leaving, all having been transformed by the team.
After about two and a half hours (that went all too quickly!) and a relaxing Shiatsu massage at the basins, my look was complete. I was a blonde bombshell ready to tackle the school run again feeling fabulous, and yes - absolutely gorgeous!
I was recommended some professional products to keep my colours looking fresh until my next visit and with my ‘recommend a friend voucher’ I was pleasantly surprised at the price.
Although slightly off the beaten track, I would make Gorgeous-hair my destination salon.

Pampering fit for a Royal
It was the day after the Royal Wedding and like many, I was feeling a little delicate after all the partying. You know that feeling when you've overdone it and need a 'pick-me-up' because you've got to go out and do it all again that night..?
I think Gary Bullock, the owner of the recently opened Gorgeous Hair, thought I was joking when I walked in for my appointment and asked him to make me look like Kate (after all, I'm 5ft nothing with curly frizzy hair and am maybe a couple of years older... can't see the problem myself?).
Seriously though, I have never known a hairdresser spend so much time with me helping me work out the colour and style best for me. Gary has several years experience at some top salons which is obvious from the first point of contact to the finished result. The salon is beautifully done without feeling pretentious and you even get a massage (from a special massage chair I hasten to add) whilst having your shampoo. The salon also has a reward system - collect points for each visit and receive a complimentary hair product.
I left feeling as gorgeous as a princess, with a beautifully smooth glossy 'swish', hoping to turn my frog into a prince and live happily ever after!
