So yesterday was my first trip to Gorgeous and I can wholeheartedly say I will be going again. I was nervous when I first went in but within a second of being in-store they made me feel welcome and well looked afte. When having my hair done Sammi was lovely, made me feel really comfortable and happy, she calmed my nerves when it came to the haircut as I had long hair but wanted it to be cut short and she did it perfectly. I can't describe how happy I am with my new haircut I would recommend Gorgeous to anyone.

I just wanted to follow up on my appointment - Wed 13th March with Grace - she is a superstar (not only because I probably rambled on due to nerves!) but as a long hair lover it has been quite rare in my experience for someone to not want to cut a lot more than what was agreed - she continually updated and checked with me, educated me on the '43' (having watched Gary and Grace maybe I will be one step closer to a smoother blow-dry/out!) and made me feel at ease.
For me she has done the most perfect cut, it is probably the only time I have walked out with my hair looking almost as long as when I walked in - whilst I have my own opinions in what I wish to do with my hair moving forward and they might differ a little from the average time-line of a haircut!! I was grateful for Grace being open with my goals and for also offering the options we can work with moving forward.
Obviously any good business starts from the top and so I wanted to thank you also for creating a warm and welcoming salon (having had you guys bookmarked for six months whilst I worked myself up to re-booking) it was a great experience - I think I am still in shock as I don’t remember the last salon experience I walked out feeling better than when I walked in so thank you.

Had 1/2 head highlights and cut with grace on Wednesday 12th and it was a great morning.
She listened to what I wanted and gave great advice. She was attentive to making my experience enjoyable and comfortable, plenty of good magazines, coffee and relaxing head massage with the added bonus of back chair massage.
Super pleased with the colour and cut and will definitely recommend to friends and family .

Having just had my third appointment with Gary, I thought it was time to write a review. I have nothing but huge praise, thank you!
As anyone with curly hair knows, finding a competent hairdresser can be a difficult and a bad experience can leave you with uncontrollable frizzy or lank hair. And then months to grow it out and start again.
It's easy to find hairdressers that when questioned profess to be an expert with curls but their results can be disastrous and can clearly take weeks to grow out.
Gary is quite the opposite! He is incredibly knowledgeable. He listens to what the customer wants, advises sensibly and above all cuts expertly
My curls are back! They're easily controlled, well defined and grow out beautifully. A huge relief to find a hairdresser who really knows his craft.
I can't recommend Gary enough.
The salon is small, the service personal and it's very very good value.
